BOTW #4

Crunch (don't worry, I'll continue to keep /bug reports anonymous) reports in the comments that due to the way he trained that any poisoning is fatal to him! Yet another thing wrong with poison, apparently. Things like this are good to know, since getting rid of falling as a cure is a goal, and I'm likely to overlook edge cases like that.

  1. how's it extra fatal to crunch? does Darkus have a say in how poison works?

  2. I think (unconfirmed) that it's due to my negative total Evus. I've trained Knox, but not Detha.

  3. So one poison takes all of your health? That is pretty lame, but makes sense. Even the worst poison on me takes barely a pixel or two of my total health, due to most of my training being around Evus/Erthron.

  4. Yeah, Knox is evil. I trained a lot of Knox early on, and I feel like 1 Knox + 1 Evus wasn't really 2 Darkus (lacking a lot of balthus mainly). Meh.

  5. Poison doesn't do much to me because of my 1500+ Evus rating. Even up to 3 poisons. Falling to get rid of them is kinda lame, but when it takes so long to recover from 4 or 5 poisons it's a viable option. I wish the antidotes worked faster, that might get me to stock up on them.

  6. Its interesting that these comments are all from fighters...

It takes my healer almost 4 hours to recover from poisons that amount to 1/4th of his health... I've seen him get poisoned 4-5 times in about a 2 minute period. With the "fix" it's pretty rough out there for non fighters who can't afford to use the falling work around. (I can't afford to die every other fight)

  7. Potions work well and fast, but at the rate healers get poisoned, you still have to do a lot of dancing and sucking it up in order to manage.

  8. Training your fighters to screen you better might help too. ;)
